Coming soon!

New headshots, video clips, and pictures from a photo shoot with the incredible Phil Poynter (philpoynter.com) will all be posted soon! Stay tuned!

Mythic Bridge

Well, I've been pretty bad about keeping this up to date! It's been a busy time! I've been working with an organization called Mythic Bridge. We do outreach work with at-risk youth to teach them the power of storytelling. A group of professional filmmakers work with the kids and then bring in actors (like me) for the shoot. The kids/teens are hands on from the writing to the editing. Check out the organization!  Mythic Bridge

FIFTY WORDS, by Michael Weller

I will be starring in this two character drama alongside the amazing Ciaran Sheehan!

LungTree Productions presents FIFTY WORDS by Michael Weller (Equity Approved Showcase)
While their nine-year-old son is away for the night on his first sleep over, Adam and Jan have their first evening alone together since their son was born.  What follows is a nightlong roller-coaster ride of revelation, rancor, passion, and humor that explores a modern-day marriage on the verge of either a breakup or deepening love and understanding.

The show will run Friday, Feb 7, 2014 - Saturday, Feb 22, 2014 at The Gene Frankel Theatre. There will be 12 performances.

Please note: Due to mature themes and strong language, this play is NOT recommended for anyone under the age of 16.
Tickets available at :  http://fiftywords.brownpapertickets.com

LungTree Productions

I am so pleased to announce my new company, LungTree Productions! For some time it has been a dream of mine to have my own theatre company, so this is a very proud moment.

Our Mission Statement:
LungTree Productions was established in order to showcase talented actors and theatre artists in high quality Off-Off Broadway Theater.  The company serves as a launching pad for its artists’ careers as well as delivering relevant, stimulating, and affordable theater to its audiences. It is difficult for many New York actors to be seen in plays where they can be proud of both the production quality and their own artistic work.  Every aspiring New York actor has had casting directors and agents say something along the lines of, “Let us know when you’re in something we can see, just make sure it’s good and not wasting our time.”  LungTree Productions will not waste their time.  The company collaborates with some of the most respected people in the theatre and film community in order to guarantee strong artistic work that will engage general theater audiences, as well as perk the interests of industry professionals.

Behind the name "LungTree"
A tree survives only with a strong root system and by absorbing the energy from the sun. Truthful performances from actors require this same delicate balance of being grounded while still taking in the energy around them. Our sun is the energy from the other actors on stage and our breath is what grounds us.

Producing a Play!

I am bouncing off the walls with the excitement of announcing my first self produced show! I will be producing Fifty Words by Michael Weller and will be starring in it alongside the amazing Ciaran Sheehan (B'WAY - Phantom of the Opera and Les Mis). This is a role I have been pining after for some time now and I couldn't be happier about this project.

A little about the show...
On the first night alone since their son was born, Adam and Jan deal with the complications of marriage, passion, parenting, resentment, and above all, love.
We will open Feb 7th and run through Feb 22nd at The Gene Frankel Theater in NYC.

My First Official IMDB Credit!!

I have my official IMDB credit! I filmed Midnight Delight directed by Rohit Gupta.  I played a know-it-all stoner/gym rat who might have just found love in an underground pot club...

For Kamera - Short Film

I've been lazy about my updates!  I recently shot "For Kamera," a short film about a man who will do anything not to lose custody of his child in a a divorce. I played the lawyer sister of the man who is trying to keep him from flying off the handle.

Can't wait for the post production work to finish so we can all see the final product!

I am playing the 2 roles in the Alternative Theatre of Manhatan's Production of Ankhst. My primary role is the juicy part of Judy, an archaeologist. I knew I was going to love this part. She's strong willed, confrontational, border-line rigid, likes to be in control, and intensely passionate about her work. What I was not expecting was to love my bit part as the Amunite Priestess just as much. It's a 2 line part near the end of the play. Joe Williams, our movement coach, told me to create a character representative of "an albino cobra of death." I've never had so much fun being silent and creepy!

Ankhst is playing at the American Theater of Actors, 314 W. 54th St. (between 8th & 9th Ave.), in the Beckman Theater on the second floor.

The show has the ghost of a pharaoh, his scheming brother, a couple of strong-willed archaeologists, lots of colorful characters, murder, intrigue, evil priests and belly dancers. I'm not kidding, real belly dancers.

We run Feb 17-March 6th. Thursday through Saturday, at 8:00 p.m. and the show on Sunday is a 3:00 p.m. matinee. Tickets are only $18 unless you tell them you're a student and then it's only $16.
